Chad earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science of Physical Therapy from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY in 1995. He has dedicated 25 years of practice towards groups of people who have an orthopedic injury and those that have been negatively impacted by dizziness, disequilibrium, unsteadiness, and falls. His initial 15 years of post-graduate studies had concentrated in the area of manual orthopedic physical therapy with a special interest in the management of musculoskeletal disorders of the spine, pelvis, and extremities Chad’s last 10 years of focus have been a concentration in the neurological disorders associated with stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and vestibular/cerebral balance system deficits.
Chad initially received certification in LSVT Big for the treatment of clients with Parkinson’s disease in 2012, and prior to moving to SC collaborated with the NY/NJ National Parkinson’s Foundation, making presentations, performing fundraising and collaborating with local accredited colleges in research. This innovative and dynamic approach to functional losses in patients with Parkinson’s disease has proven to be very effective for 100s of his clients in these last 8 years.
Chad is also a Partner in Balance with the American Institute of Balance and brings his expertise and extensive experience in the treatment of vertigo, dizziness, imbalance, and post-concussive rehabilitation to the region. He has been a certified provider for concussion, dizziness, vertigo, imbalance, and falls with AIB since 2010.
When not in the office Chad is a very active and engaged father, husband, coach, and mentor to those around him.
